Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Hilltop Software LLC ("we", "us"), of Arroyo Grande, California, collects and uses information when you use the Trendflow app.

Information we collect

Account information you give us: email address, name, role, bio and an optional profile photo. Your choices in the app: interests, saved trends, roadmap items and notification preferences. Basic technical data needed to run the service, such as sign-in timestamps. We do not collect your precise location, contacts or browsing history, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

How we use it

To provide and personalise Trendflow (for example, showing trends that match your interests), to keep your account secure, to send the notifications you turn on, and to provide support. Trend analysis is generated by AI from public sources such as Google Trends, Hacker News and news sites; your personal information is not used to train AI models.

Service providers

We use Supabase to host our database, authentication and file storage, and an AI provider to analyse public trend data and write scripts. Subscription payments are processed by Apple, and subscription status is managed by RevenueCat; we never see your full card details. These providers process data only on our behalf.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers above, or when required by law.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in Settings > Delete Account; this permanently removes your profile, photo, interests, saved trends and roadmap.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information. Use the in-app tools or email support@hilltopsoftwarellc.com.

Children

Trendflow is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, and access to your records is restricted to your account by database security rules.

Changes

We will update this page and the date below if this policy changes.
